Service resources expose current metrics and metrics history. Server resources expose host-level metrics gathered through the host engine, including common load, memory, and filesystem information.

Metrics tell you that resource behavior changed; logs often tell you why. During an incident, correlate deployment events, service metrics, server metrics, and runtime logs before making large configuration changes.

RailDock's built-in signals are useful for operations but do not replace a dedicated long-retention metrics/logging stack when your reliability requirements call for one.
